Rituals Hajj

Rituals of Hajj is one of the activities every year in ma'had Sunan Ampel al-Aly (MSAA).

I had a very memorable experience while following the rituals of Hajj last year. I used to live in mabna Ibn Sina. I got the first group trman mabna along the aisles. Thank God we got the first prize category of the son.

This is my experience salaha the time to follow the rituals of Hajj in ma'had aunan Ampel al ali.

Rituals of Hajj Experience

I'm naufal and i'm from mabna ibnu sina, i will go to the manasik haji competition with all my friends in mabna ibnu sina.

In the early morning after pray shubuh i prepared all of my needs with my roommate.after finished we wear our ihram costum and repeat our haji do'a.At six o'clock we go to the field for the start, but be not directly start the manasik, but we wait for the other mabna to do their manasik so we wait and we toom photos with very happy. After mabna before us finished their manasik, we do our manasik seriously.

And then when i knew if mabna ibnu sina is the winner i'm very happy. That was unforgetable moment.

Manasik Haji

When i was on first semester, i live in islamic boarding school, actually in ma’had sunan ampel al-aly.

I lived in Al-Faraby dormitory on room 29. At 3 October 2015 there is a activity called Manasik haji. All of the dormitory in ma’had sunan ampel al-aly attend the events. We have to get up early because we still need to prepare our costume, the costume called “Kain Ihram”. Al-Faraby dormitory get the last position.

I feel sad when our dormitory not become a champion. But this experience really make me happy because this activity make our friendship better.

HAJJ SIMULATION COMPETITION 2015 in MSAA

On October 2015, there was an event called ‘Manasik Haji Socialication’ Manasik Haji is have same meaning with Hajj simulation. The event was hold on State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The participant is all of the students of Sunan Ampel Al-Aly Islamic Boarding School. In that moment, I was living in Ibn Sina Dormitory with my 240 friends. All of us is automatically follows the agenda.

Before the competition started, there was a series of agenda. 3 weeks for training session, and 1day for the competition. In the training weeks, all of students usually practice in every morning togheter with Shobahul Lughoh or Morning Language agenda.  We always kept our Taqorrubat. Taqorrubat is a litle book which contains the du’a text of Hajj. We walked started from in front of Sharia faculty, and then entered the fields, after that we walked to microteaching building, and then we walked out of the campus pass through the main gate, turn right, and entered the entrance gate. We walked around the B building, and pass thorugh the Sport Centre building, finally we finished at the KD dormitory. There are some post during the manasik. In every post, we read some du’a like intend to doing hajj and umroh, thawaf, sa’I, takhalul, throw the jumrah, and the others. The committee makes the Campus like the Makkah and Madinah city. After the training weeks, the last agenda is the ‘Manasik Haji Competition’. There are 9 dormitories which compete each others. Al-Ghazali, Ibn Rusyd, Ibn Sina, Ibn Khaldun, Al-Faroby, Ummu Salamah, Fatimah Az-Zahra, Khadijah Al-Kubro, Asma’ Binti Abi Bakar. All of the dormitories show their skill in ‘manasik’. And there was some judge who assess every dormitories. The most powerfull and the most good performance will be the winner.

After the competition, finally the announcement day. All of us were not be patient anymore. And there is it. The Winner from Male dormitory is from my dormitory, Ibn Sina dormitory. And the Winner from Female dormitory is from Fatimah Az Zahra dormitory. The Manasik Haji competition is very usefull for us. Because there are so many lesson which get from that event. All of students fells happy and hope that we can doing the real hajj. Aamiin.

Happy Rituals of Hajj

Saturday morning (27/08/2015) at around 07.00 O’clock the opened ceremony of Hajj rituals conducted in 2015 in the Field of State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang has begun.

Hajj rituals of activities to do there obligatory and pillars of Hajj. Pillars of Hajj: Ihram, standing at Arafat, ifadlah tawaf, sa'i, tahallul, orderly. obligatory Hajj: Ihram from Miqat, mabit in Muzdalifah, mabit in Mina, Throwing Pebbles, Thawaf Wada'. Sentence Talbiyah I often say during the rituals of Hajj:

Labbaikallohumma Labbaik…
Labbaikalla Syarikalakalab baik…
Innalhamda wanni’mata…
Laka walmulk laa syarikkalika.. 

I was very happy to be doing activities for activities of the rituals of Hajj, after activities of Hajj rituals completed, while in the room feeling very proud, to carry out the rituals of Hajj, even though it's just rituals alone, Hopefully one day it will come true desire to going on Hajj to the Holy Land Mecca.

Not The Rituals of Hajj Like The Most

One of the pillars of Islam is Hajj. Although I still can not do it, the rituals of Hajj (Manasik Haji) is very good for us who are still have not been able to Hajj. That's what I did in the early entrance into this campus. This is not the Rituals of Hajj like usual, because this is competition. There are values for each of the pillars of hajj.

In the morning of 3 oct 2015, my friends and i prepared to perform the Rituals of Hajj. we wear clothes, which is like ihram cloth, accessories of each mabna, as well as bring the guidance book of Hajj, so we do not forget the prayers in the Hajj. After that, we headed to the front yard of mabna to make line up, prepare army to rock the campus, hahaha. Meanwhile, i had been heard the voice from the other mabna, "Labbaikallahumma labbaik, Labbaikalaa Syarii Kalakalabbaik ...". At around 9 am, our mabna had started out in in front of Syariah Faculty by saying the first prayer, which is the intention. Then we walked to the next place with saying prayers Talbiyah "Labbaikallahumma labbaik, Labbaikalaa Syarii Kalakalabbaik ...". When we came up to the pillars of Hajj called Thawaf which was placed in center between the Basketball Field and Volleyball Field, we walked around the Ka'bah as much as three times only. At that time we did not focus on Thawaf because the weather is so hot. So, we walked around faster and prayed thawaf also faster.

Then, we continued the next pillars of Hajj. When they arrived on sa'i, we jogged about 20 meters, over and over again we do that, go back to go back and so on as much as 4 times. Then we walked again and come to the next pillar, that is Wukuf. At that time we did dhikr in front Tangga Besar (The Large Stairs), but the longer we dhikr, we said it out loudly. So, after that we were tired enough. Then we walked to the spot of throw jumroh, that is in front of SC (Student Center). During our walk, we were ordered by the committee to took the corn kernels just enough to throw jumroh. when we were in front of SC, the corn kernels was supposed to be thrown into a provided place, but my friends threw it messy.

After that we continued the next pillars untill finish. Although we did this rituals of Hajj quite good, we regret it because this is the last time to do the rituals of Hajj as long as we did not do the real Hajj. We hope that our families and us can go to Mecca to do the real Hajj.

Lost my voice, Poor me

There are many activties for 1st year students in uin maliki malang. Why ? Because the 1st  year students had to live in islamic boarding school, the name's ma'had sunan ampel al-'aly. One of the populer activity is manasik haji.

I lived in ibnu sina dormitory. All of supervisor and 1st year student worked hardly to prepared this activity. We made our group to be solid and cool. We made our songs to gave our spirit .  My group gave best performences to made our dormitory proud to my group. We spoke loudly. When we read the taqarrubat book and when we sang the songs together. Unfornately, so many persons in my group was lost our voice especially for me.

I felt so sad because  anypersons didn't know what was i say. Because my voice Los. But i felt proud to my dormitory especially my group, because my dormitory was be a champions.

Jogging between Safa and Marwah hill

When i live in Ma’had Sunan Ampel Al-‘Aly, there was one activity named ‘manasik haji’, it is training and simulate haji before haji in Mecca. Manasik haji is obligatory activity in in Ma’had Sunan Ampel Al-‘Aly.

In 3rd October 2015, i did manasik haji. Before i did it, i wore white cloth without needlework. Then i did first activity in manasik haji named Thawaf. Thawaf is rounding the Ka’bah 7 round in Masjidil Haram. I rounded the Ka’bah 7 round and read prays in every round. After Thawaf, i went to second place and did second activity in manasik haji named Sa’i. Sa’i is jogging between Safa and Marwah hill. I jog between Safa and Marwah hill, 7 round and read prays in every round. 

Sa’i is my favorite activity in manasik haji because i need more effort to doing that because jog between Safa and Marwah is exhausted but i can do that. I get some inspiration from manasik haji activity especially Sa’i. I must try to maximize in pray to get forgiveness and ridho from Allah SWT.

Mahasantri's Manasik haji

When we was new student in UIN MALIKI Malang, we stayed in mahad for about 10 months total. We placed in mabna Ibnu Khaldun. There was an activity which is obligatory for every mahasantri usually called manasik haji. This activity held once a year and also one of mahad competition, mabna by mabna. So the whole mahasantri and musyrif has weeks to prepare the performance before the zero day(October 3rd 2015). Just like the real haji, we did haji simulation around the campus as the saudi arabia teritorry, wear ihram suit, no shoes or sandals and jamaah departured by several part. Luckily my mabna has early departure.

Every place that representate a real place has it own holder and there was manasik's assessor too. We began in front of c building as entrance of makkah and take du'a. We prayed in every place we visited. Then we went to field in the front of c building as  kakbah of to do thawaf, we did just 3 circlings because one of simulation rules. After that we walked around outside field and face the field together as look as like jamaah go to shafa and marwah hill. Then we went to front of physicology faculty to do sa'i, a bit run around shafa and marwah hill like maryam did thousand years ago. After 15 minutes, we went to front of tarbiyah faculty to do tahalull, take cut of our hair but again this is just simulation. Then we walked until front of UIN and back to side of b building as Arafah to do wukuf, praying to Allah swt. After that we went to another side of b building as Mina and muzdalifah to prepare and do jumrah throwing, but we used corn seeds instead of real gravel. There was 3 points to throw at. And finally we finished the bunch of manasik haji before sun continued to burn us longer.

Several weeks later the winner was announced but it was not my mabna. The winner is Ibnu Sina, but im not too disappointed. Because that was not the point of this activity.

It was really useful mahad agenda that really teach its mahasantri how is the real manasik haji was held. Me and my friends glad to had experience like this because become useful later when we will go to the holy land. Amiin.

Rituals of Hajj

on 3 october 2015 I carry out the rituals of Hajj in uin. not just me but all the students who live in mahad. it is a very festive event.

Hajj rituals held on the Sunday that we should be able to sleep soundly. but we have to get up early to prepare costume. Before leaving we were given milk in order not to faint when the rituals of Hajj. because the rituals of travel quite a lot and we finally departed at 12 noon, just as the sun was very hot. Very annoying was we were not allowed to wear footwear.

Hajj rituals event finished around 2pm. it is very tiring event.

Forgot to Join Manasik Haji

Back when I was still in the first half , I remembered about manasik haji.

At that time my friends and i went to play out without purpose until morning, and one of my friends remember one thing that the rituals of Hajj. My friends and I totally forgot about it, finally we also hurried back heading to campus. At the time of Hajj rituals we were all exhausted from play until the morning, we ended up very sleepy due to lack of sleep. Over Hajj rituals we do that with low energy and often sleepwalking.

After the Hajj rituals were done we all rushed back to the individual rooms and fell asleep until late afternoon.
